Free Time

This one goes out to all the blessed people everywhere standing up for their beliefs and helping those who’re in despair this one goes out to those who dedicate their days and weeks and months and years to those who never get free time at all (x2)

I know a girl who gives her time to those in need helping women in Uganda who turn paper into beads so they can make beautiful jewelry they can sell so they can eat cuz every Bead for Life that sells plants a seed, a seed that grows in kids that see their mothers succeed in giving them the opportunities they desperately need to see the light of education nourishment from good nutrition and a roof over their heads and beds to sleep, so they can wake up every morning with more options than before with a more comfortable rest than with their heads upon the floor and take a pride in living free invest their time in mindful things and develop strength within their own communities, and then their power soon it stretches beyond the borders of Africa it reaches far and wide to nations all across the globe and if we keep the relay going if we keep telling their story there’s no limit to the freedoms they could know…so…

My sister Mia’s given so much of her self to kids in Ethiopia without the silver spoon of health born with nothing but their skin and given little chance to win she’s helping orphans smile and laugh and find true wealth, cuz hell can be experienced much more easily than you think especially for kids who don’t even have a kitchen sink who’ve never known the luxury of running water they can drink yes their hell can take their freedoms in a blink, of an eye for an eye in a dog eat dog world devastating circumstance surrounds these boys and girls it’s sucha¬† waste of living if we never help ’em thrive it’s a tragedy that most won’t live past five, and even tho their evils seem to stack against their odds Selamta’s on a mission worthy of the highest gods spreading peace of mind love of the purest kind there’s no limit to the freedoms these kids could find…so…
